Week 3 Cross

This week the children shared their extra credit designs and constructed crosses. If your child didn't bring in an extra credit project today but would still like to earn a ticket, they have 1 more week to turn it in.

*I distribute tickets to the kids who finish class assignments, homework, and extra credit. At the end of the year, they will be able to turn them in for prizes. *

We also read 1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Please have your child work on memorizing this verse. In class they will take turns reciting it.

Next week we will be talking about being God's masterpiece and they will begin constructing a masterpiece of their own.
